Lions Vs. Bears

Hello Class!
Sorry for the delay on my posts, but we haven't been missing much from the Lions performances as of lately. This past monday night, the Lions squared off against the Chicago Bears in a prime time showdown. Last year the Lions were set up on a Monday Night game for the first time since 1999 and they shined running wild all over the Chicago Bears. This year was a different story though. The Bears assembled a dominant team over the offseason adding a new young wide receiver and also All Pro wide receiver Brandon Marshall. With running back Matt Forte and Quarterback Jay Cutler controlling the offense, it is a force to be reckoned with. The Lions, coming off an exciting win over the Philadelphia Eagles, were up to the challenge in front of them. Chicago's defense was to much for the Lions high powered offense, or so its called this night holding them to only 7 points total in the game. Chicago also struggled on offense too only scoring 13, which is drastically lower than their season average. The Lions defense came to play. If only we could've had the offense play a full game, we could have stolen this game away from the Bears and won as the underdogs. I think our team this season has a lot of potential, but have just underperformed. Hopefully next week they can put together multiple successful offensive drives and score some points!

  1. Well I haven't followed the Lions for a while. I have heard that they were playing half way decent this year. My dad usually keeps me caught up with what is going on, but with school, work and kids there isn't much time left. Cool blog though.

  2. I feel the lions have a really good team this year, but they need new coaches. I think they would be better if they got rid of schwartz, linehan, and cunninham and replaced then with someone who knows what there doing. The lions team it's bad this year I blame the losses on the coaches.

  3. Couldnt agree with you any more Jaylyn! Linehan and Cunningham are both outdated and not directing this team down the right path. Schwartz cant seem to keep his players under control either so sadly we have to rebuild again it looks like!
